About As I Lay Dying

Hailing from San Diago, California, As I Lay Dying are one of the most successful bands in the metalcore genre. Forming in 2001, it wasn't until the band's 2005 album 'Shadows Are Security' that they gained the attention of metal fans online. Tracks such as 'Through Struggle' and 'Confined' made the band one to watch. It was their 2007 album 'An Ocean Between Us' however that broke As I Lay Dying into the mainstream metal zeitgeist. Peaking number 8 on the Billboard chart, this album was just the start for one of the worlds biggest metalcore bands.
