I love Halestorm, have been a fan since day 1. Went to see them live at Chan Center in Vancouver. The opening bands were absolutely horrible, the sound in the theatre was probably the worst I've ever heard. When Halestorm finally took the stage at 9:30, I was hoping the sound tech adjusted the sound for such a small venue, but no such luck. Halestorm is the first rock band to play Chan Theatre, there is probably a reason for that, this venue is not set up for this type of music. Lzzy Hale has an incredible voice, but for some reason she was screaming rather than singing, probably from years of playing open air concerts and intimate settings like Chan Center
